An amazing yoga teacher (slow, juicy, earthy, female yoga) - she holds small classes in Milan, where my muscles are activated, my nervous system goes back to equilibrium and my spirit gets hooked back up to the body. She’s also a wise Yoni Guide, with online classes on menstruality to navigating pre and post menopause. Another secret weapon is what she calls “stillness touch” - an energy-fueled cranial sacral method. For someone like me that has so much Yang, I need people who can bring me back to the quiet. Michele Barocchi: Breathwork and Psychedelic Education

Michele is a dear friend, sister and is great breathwork facilitator. She hosts retreats across Italy and in her home in Tuscany, outside of Florence. She is also the founder of MAPS in Italy, so she has a wealth of information on psychedelic research and on its therapeutic effects on mind body and psyche. Jen Warakomski: The Hormone Yoga Therapist

Jen is a great yoga teacher who is not trying to sculpt anyone into a statue or push people beyond their limits. She fits my 50 year old bill of mind, body, spirit, meditation and breathwork combo. Eiass Younis: The Bodyworker

Eiass is technically a physiotherapist and a licensed osteopath, which the Italians love for wringing out any muscular aches and pains. He is without a doubt a mechanical expert in posture, fascia and joints, but he is way more masterful in the art of his craft. He is what I call a gifted body reader and listener - he has extra ears for what your cells, organs and muscles need and the signs that they are sending. I call him when I need a body reset or have any kind of ache or pain.

Antonia Stefanaki: The Wrinkle Whisperer

This woman will literally rub the wrinkles off of your face. She also taught me a protocol of what to do at home with my own face gym but I got lazy. Anyway, she is the picture of patience; she will spend 50 minutes just gently coaxing your jaw to relax. Sometime the work is extremely relaxing, and sometimes it’s irritating as her soft touch begins to release the emotions trapped inside the fascia of your face muscles. But the result is incredible.

Paolo Nicolò Ferraguti: The Energy Clearer

I first met Paolo when a friend suggested I use him to clear the energy in the La DoubleJ offices in Milan. He came in pre-pandemic, worked his energetic magic, cleaned up all stagnation and informed me of a few employees with energetic imbalances that needed extra support. He’s also come to my house and told me what items need to be thrown away or cleansed because of their dirty energy (he made me put a vintage dress in the freezer once for this very purpose). Marco Migliavacca: The Energy Yogi

Marco is a classically trained yoga instructor and can run a sweaty vinyasa class like nobody’s business. But, thankfully, he is so much more than that. He was the first to introduce me to Yin Yoga, the restorative, very slow, very subtle practice that helped me begin to listen to my body’s pleas, protests and pain after my infertility journey. He was one of the first people to help me get in touch with my somatic experience. He is now an expert at Katonah yoga and holds classes at the DoubleJ store grotto once a week as well as online. To begin with, there are very few people I will even let put my hands on me because I’m very sensitive. Within this group, he is one of my all-time favorite. I met him at my friends Le Tre Contrade Villa (which you can rent in Sicily). He will drench you in more oil than a panchakarma specialist in India. Harriet Emily: The One Woman Sound Healing Orchestra

In Harriet’s presence I feel like I am with a highly evolved forest fairy. She has very strong elf energy for me (which I love!), but on her professional CV you’ll see that she’s an incredible sound healer and herbal medicine specialist. When I came to London recently, she created a complete “Grounding Kit” of tinctures and brews that she had specifically crafted for me. Technically, she’s a celebrity facialist: she has readied some of the world’s most gorgeous women for their biggest public-facing events. Manizeh Rimer: The Yoga and Kirtan Queen

If you are in London, please go to Love Supreme Projects, the baby and brainchild of Manizeh Rimer, a former Investment banker turned yogi and kirtan Queen. Manizeh was the first to bring New York’s Jivamukti studio to London in the early 2000s, and now has opened her own three-story building near Portobello which has become a temple of heart-cracking activity. You can get a great yoga class of any variety, but the real icing on the pie is the kirtan singing that Manizeh does, using the traditional call and response singing used in Vedic and yogic traditions. It is an instant vibration-raising activity and also brings an awesome community of people together.

Leo Cosendai: QI Gong Healer

The first time I experienced Leo’s gong session was at Indaba in London and he blew me away. He’s a sensational high frequency sound healer, like a one-man orchestra with his multiple, giant gongs. Jahnavi Claire Missingham: Yoga Philosophy and Asana Teacher, India Retreats

I was introduced to Claire, now called Jahnavi, during covid through her remote classes in London. A real yogis yogi, she’s got a great blend of music and movement (she used to be a choreographer) but always weaves in the mantras, mudras, and pranayama breathing that shows her deep connected to and respect for yogic philosophy. She’s a vinyasa teacher trainer but is also studied Jivamukti and Kundalini. Lying Lim: Tea Ceremony and Spiritual Expansion

I love it when I meet a healer and can already feel the goddess they are channeling. For LiYing, it’s full on, super gentle, Quan Yin energy. Elisabeth Manning: The Spirit and Fertility Coach

My very first foray into energy work happened, like most spiritual pursuits, because I was in the pits of despair. After four failed IVFs, my body and heart were a mangled mess. Then Elisabeth Manning dropped out of the sky like the angel that she is. Tracey Griffiths: Aroma Therapy and Holistic Healing

I met this woman because she was the only human whose presence and touch could relax my mother in the last very difficult two years of her life, when she was filled with rage, discomfort, and delusions. She came into my mother’s home as a fairy fricking godmother. I frequently do sessions with her when I’m in LA. She is a bodyworker but she is not going to give you a deep sports massage. She offers the kind of bodywork that is very subtle and quiet but extremely powerful and healing. I think of her is a filling station for yin energy. Brian Donohue: Deep Body Work and Integrative Health – Los Angeles

Some of my preferred body workers create yin containers which I need for spirit to come through. But Brian’s specialty is decidedly more yang. A part from studying my anatomy, adjusting limbs, pressing into the stomach to move organs around, he has also stuck his fingers into my mouth and pulled my jaw apart in a way that felt like the end of Braveheart. Corbin is a wonderful, powerful and giant-hearted male witch. We met each other on Instagram, fell in energetic love and then later met in physical life in Los Angeles where he often visits. Kate is a highly intuitive, former Nike executive turned shaman who possesses deep connections to the spirit of Gaia. She’s a plant whisperer, communicating with the consciousness of trees, plants or shrubs as well as sound, holding ceremony space for vibrational frequency healing. Rae Orion: Soul Healer

Sometimes when I am with Rae, I’m not sure if she is my teacher, my daughter or my mother but it does feel like we’ve had 6000 past lives together. Radiant Alive: Yoga Studio

For me this studio has not only the best yoga classes and roster of healers but also the best energy and vibe in Ubud. Between 2020 to 2022 I visited 6 times. The in-person classes have windowless jungle views, and a great crowd. It was also my favorite place to pick up visiting healers. They have very esoteric, highly specialized offerings like divine DNA activations and inner child workshops. All the good stuff. I spent a lot of time in their beautifully designed café with high frequency food, or I’d jump across the street to eat at buddha bar, one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants.

Kimiko Briody: Extra Strenght Body Work

If you’re one of those people that likes to have your pressure points held HARD, Kimiko is your girl. I’ve never met anyone who knows more intuitively where to press on someone’s body. Just be forewarned, she always picks the place that is the most tender and sore and she will not let go. I remember how loudly and for how long I screamed the first time I had a session with her and yet at the same time, she rubbed the pain out and I flew out of my body. You just need to muster the tolerance to lay and stay through the experience. It’s tough. The great thing about her, though, is that she laughs when you scream and has the energy of an angel.

Andrew Kenneth Fretwell: Taoist Inner Alchemy, Spiritual Teacher, Gene Key Reading

I met Andrew online when I was trying to decode my complex gene key reading; he’s fabulous for using that to decode your Soul’s purpose. Lelama Sjamar: Multi-dimensional self-mastery teacher, Sound and light channel

I met Lelama at Damanhur, a spiritual community outside of Torino, where she was leading a Star Gate building site. I found myself digging giant holes in the earth with my bare hands next to her for 6 hours straight to deposit massive slabs of selenite. Since then, she’s been one of my most instrumental spiritual teachers. I worked with her for 3 hours every week on zoom for 18 months straight. Marine Guillou Dore: Kobido Facial Expert

I have no patience for facial where they’re just rubbing cream into my skin. Someone at a LDJ sisterhood circle in Paris recommended this woman. I went literally ten minutes before I had to leave for the airport and it was life changing. She’s doing Kobido facial massage, merging skills from Japanese, Russian, and French techniques – I left and felt like every wrinkle was gone. The goddess lifting and I felt like a goddess.
