Along the languid beaches surrounding the rugged coast of Portugal, the cool cafés and bars dotting this quietly whispered-about paradise have been attracting a visceral and raw energy. This isn’t mellow-yellow, babe, this is high-voltage energy transplanted from Milan by the LDJ Dream Team. The occasion? A full-day sisterhood celebration of the opening of La DoubleJ’s brand new Shop in Shop at Fashion Clinic Comporta. We began the day at the beautiful JNcQUOI Beach Club with an introduction to the vibration-raising qualities of print and color from our Creative Commander in Chief, followed by an hour-long Yoga Nidra session guided by our new star sister Isa Guitana, set to the sounds of extraordinary local harpist Carolina Marcelino. With energies substantially elevated, we hopped on our bikes and cycled to a bountiful vegetarian brunch at our stunning retail space, designed from top to bottom in sun-baked LDJ prints and joyful touches - like the scarab pattern awning on the terrace and custom Raise Your Vibration emblazoned freshly squeezed juices. As if our morning wasn't beautiful enough, the dinner that followed took it to stratospheric new heights. Enjoyed to the soundtrack of incredible local musicians playing traditional Portuguese songs, we dined against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean at our new friend Paula Guesdes Sousa’s beautiful home. This entire Sisterhood Celebration would not be possible without the entire Fashion Clinic team and Isa Guitana.
